Nice work dresses/skirts for the chunky of thigh

I'd like some more nice dresses for work, but I've been struggling to find anything that's not tight on the hips/thighs. I'm a 10-12 but have thighs like a shed am bottom heavy Wink

Ideally looking for a few dresses, mix of smartish and nice to proper smart, around the £30 mark. Any suggestions/recommendations?

Watching with interest, I'm a similar shape

T's very annoying. I can find casual dresses quite easily, but not really work suitable ones Sad

Obviously it is an impossible mission, no one has accepted your challenge :o

I'm a similar shape, am SAHM at the moment so not up to date with lovely workwear but I recommend a short A-line shape with cap sleeves or long sleeves and opaque tights and fairly high heels like the M and S cheap high heeled court shoe. That was my go-to look and I felt it streamlined me. Look at the Hobbs Abingdon or Aldgate dresses. You could add a short cardi or jacket. Uniqlo and Cos are good for v simple but well cut dresses, nothing with a defined waist as it just emphasises the difference between that and your arse iyswim. You can add scarves and statement necklaces if that's your thing.

Thanks, I'd forgot about Uniqlo, we don't have one round here. Seems to be all super tight pencil shapes or floaty flimsy not-for-work stuff at the moment.
