After much thought and years of wanting to do it, I've decided I'm going to dye my hair!

whats the best product to use? I've never done it before and dont want it to look awful. I've seen the mouse is that easy to use? or is something else better?

Whats a mouse?

Most of the colours are pretty much the same, its the application thats difficult to do on your own if you have never done it before.

I am not a fan of the foam colours as I find them hard to spread evenly. Ganier Fructis dye is lovely to use, one pack covers my quite long hair.

What colour are you going?

Blush moose? moouse? you know I dont know how to spell it! maybe foam is a better word Blush

I'm planning on going a chestnutty brown. I think I'll try a wash in and wash out first? someone said that was a good idea to try first?

Lol sorry thought you meant some amazing new hair dying mouse :)

If you're fairly light naturally a wash in wash out probably won't actually wash out! Will leave some colour behind. I'm the type who just goes ah feck it and dyes it anyway!

Best advice I could give you though, if you can't decide between two shades go for the lightest!

You can always lighten it and go back to your natural colour, its not the end of the world.

I'm naturally blonde, very blonde I'm just fed up and want a change! maybe I'll go darker slowly [nervous]
