....THIS
And it's blue! Sigh.
I'm trying to remember why I'm not wealthy enough to afford it.

Does it come with £14,000 in the inside pocket?

HanneHolm · 29/01/2013 15:58

meh, looks like something princess anne woudl carry

BunnyLebowski · 29/01/2013 15:58
Confused

Just wait till Thatcher dies and her relatives stick her gear on Ebay. Pretty sure you'll get something identical for a fiver.

HanneHolm · 29/01/2013 15:59

really - do you WANT to look 67?

joliejolie · 29/01/2013 15:59

I always think of scotchgrain Mulberry when I think of Anne.

Pretty bag, think i'd rather have a new car though.

MoodyDidIt · 29/01/2013 16:04

its nice but bloody hell - 17K for a BAG??

thats crazy. and this comes from someone who would happily spend up to about 1k on a bag, and have done

AmberNectarine · 29/01/2013 16:05

Two words. Victoria. Beckham.

BrandyAlexander · 29/01/2013 16:08

I know people with Birkins. They look much nicer in rl. Still wouldn't fork out £17k though!!!!

valiumredhead · 29/01/2013 16:37

I don't like it at all, it looks dated and yes, would suit Princess Anne.

openerofjars · 29/01/2013 16:41

Fuck me, I wouldn't spend that on a car!

Sorry, it was the shock.

CailinDana · 29/01/2013 16:42

SEVENTEEN THOUSAND POUNDS!!!

wewereherefirst · 29/01/2013 16:42

17k?! I could buy a car for that!

valiumredhead · 29/01/2013 16:43

You couldn't pay me £17k to carry that thing on my arm! Grin

SummerRainIsADistantMemory · 29/01/2013 16:44

That's a lot of money for a really hideous bag Shock

SirBoobAlot · 29/01/2013 16:46

They have one similar in Primark right now.

HTH Wink

MarshaBrady · 29/01/2013 16:47

OP how about the £28k version?

MoodyDidIt · 29/01/2013 16:48

LOL sirboob :o

valiumredhead · 29/01/2013 16:48

That's worse!

HyvaPaiva · 29/01/2013 16:53

Copies of the Birkin have flooded the high-street market for years. Whether you get a £10 Primark or £17,000 real thing, it's just meh now. I don't think it's as 'lust-worthy' as they claim. An Hermes Kelly is far nicer in any case.

Feelingood · 29/01/2013 16:53

Disgusting.

spanky2 · 29/01/2013 16:55

How can it cost more than a car!!?Shock

joliejolie · 29/01/2013 18:26

And "vintage" is just polite for used. I do love it, but £17,000 is a bit more than I would spend on a bag...about £16,500 more!!
I'm sure they're a good investment and they apparently never go out of style, so if it was the last buy you bought...maybe...?? If you had the cash.

I don't think they are particularly for women of a certain age either. The Mulberry Bayswater is a knock-off after all and they're still quite popular with all ages. Maybe it's just that the older women can afford them, like older men in Ferraris.

Also, I usually see them carried open and if you buy the slouchy leather, well, they are divine!!!

freerangeeggs · 29/01/2013 18:27

You could buy ME for £17k but tbh I'm probably not worth it

Tanyaaah · 29/01/2013 18:28

It's incredibly dull and ugly, can not possibly be worth the money!
