I've just bought these
www.theoutnet.com/product/178392
And love them BUT I got them in a 31 as they said they were true to size, and if anything they are a little big. They gap a bit on the waistband at the back and aren't snug fitting across the hips. If I wear a belt they look better. The challenge is that I can't find them in a size 30 anywhere and I'm not sure if they are supposed to fit snugly on the thighs?
I wondered:

  1. will they shrink at all?
  2. does anyone know where I could get them in a size 30? I can't decide whether to keep these or not. Any advice much appreciated.

here

Which colour though?

shopafrolic · 28/01/2013 15:00

Thanks MrsCB it's the red I'm after. I think I've missed the boat......
Do you have the Paris? Are they supposed to be a snug fit do you know?

I did have them but ebayed last year as didn't get on with them - I found they were true to size in the red - the denim came up smaller though.

shopafrolic · 28/01/2013 15:31

Can I ask why you didn't get on with them?

I think they look best with flat shoes and I don't really wear flat shoes - I guess they weren't narrow enough in the lower leg for me.

I know what you mean. I think I'll try them again tonight with flats and heels when DS in bed and then decide. If they were a little smaller they'd be a definite keeper. Oh to find a 30....

Worth checking out your local TKMaxx. I bought some for £24 in indigo - they may have other colours too. I find them true to size. They gape slightly but look fine with a belt. Very flattering. I also wear with heels and flats.

Thanks ujjayi I'll have a look. I tried them on again with ballet pumps and think I'll keep them as the price was so good! Will definitely try and track down a 30 though, if only because it's the only brand I could ever wear that size in!
