£1 Bargain!!!!

Would love to know where all these charity shops are you all speak of.

Fimbo · 24/04/2006 13:54

I live in a village and we have a very good charity shop. Most of my ds's toy cars are from there - they charge very little.

Noooo! That's fantastic. They are gorgeous.
Name of charity shop please! Grin

Nbg · 24/04/2006 13:56

Our charity shop is full of rubbish.
Literally!

Can't believe you've managed to get something thats current stock!
Who would do that?

Fimbo · 24/04/2006 13:59

There is only the one Cupcakes - and you know where I live!! Mind you have never seen anything like these before. I really couldn't believe it - they could have been returned or sold on Ebay or summat.

fimbo - you have a v posh charity shop there

wonder what the story is behind it all?

cross husband?
wrong size?
wrong colour?
unwanted present?
mistake when clearing out a cupboard?

Fimbo · 24/04/2006 14:08

fullmoonfish · 24/04/2006 16:38

Cor, our charity shop's are too savvy to let a pair of 'name' shoes go for a quid! Envy They're lovely!
Picked up a tolerably nice, not outstanding - t-shirt today, looked at the price and they wanted £8. When I spluttered at the checkout, the lady looked sternly at me and said: ''well, it is a Next one, you know...''
PMSL and answered 'yeah but it's only a Next one. Don't think I'll bother''

fullmoonfish · 24/04/2006 16:39

oh no, put an unwanted apostrophe in the first 'shops'. Quick, somebody hide me from the grammar pedants...
