Please don't use them, it so isn't worth the pain and the appalling expense.

My three orders

  1. Took 14 days to arrive. Item underwhelming.
  2. Sent for refund, never received money back. 70 pounds lost.
  3. "out for delivery" for a week. Nothing has arrived.

Cory they are useless but didn't you pursue the returned items?

Hetaera · 26/01/2013 15:12

When I returned some items last year I never got a refund. I contacted them and they said they had written (I never got anything) to me saying there was a problem with putting money back onto my card or some such rubbish and that I was to contact them. Anyway, I ended up getting my refund via a bank transfer.
So Cory do ring them. Do you still have your proof of postage?
Needless to say, I don't bother ordering from them anymore.

JeffFaFa · 26/01/2013 15:23

Oh no Ive just ordered from them yesterday, it still says order pending, i only used them as i heard the are best for long vests, regretting that now

ChablisLover · 26/01/2013 15:27

i know they are having diffs refunding

I rang and had to give my bank details twice now and the money has been refunded

They had written to me to tell me to call them

Since then, they have refunded without issues

but it is shocking delivery

mirpuppet · 26/01/2013 16:10

I contacted them and they said they had written (I never got anything) to me saying there was a problem with putting money back onto my card or some such rubbish and that I was to contact them.

This also happened to me - I think it is a scheme they run to retain money as I have never heard that excuse from any other online retailer.

I'm sure they retain thousands of pounds that way.

Hetaera · 26/01/2013 16:43

OOOOH mirpuppet Shock, this is most interesting.

I often order from them and have never had a problem. In fact I've just had a parcel arrive this very hour. Ordered earlier this week

RooneyMara · 26/01/2013 17:35

They were having this 'difficulty' well over a year ago when I ordered from them. Also I couldn't return the (very much faulty) items to store for some reason. They told me to send them back to the online address.

No idea if the refund ever happened, I think I meant to check the bank but didn't. It was a pair of shoes and the strap was torn when they arrived.

Melty · 26/01/2013 17:43

I ordered just after Christmas, but it took about 2 weeks to arrive. (although to be fair, I was emailed when the order was dispatched with an ETA.
They only seem to deliver to your home address, and will charge you for non deliveries if courier has to return item back to the company.
I was lucky , my dellivery came on a day off.
I tried to order today but wanted to have it delivered to work. It wouldn't allow me to change the address, and it actally states delivery to a residential address only.
So I cancelled the order. I have a job that necessitates me not being at home during the week (like millions of others) and really wish that companies would take this into account. But I suppose the rise of online shopping has led to an increase in fraud....

BikeRunSki · 26/01/2013 17:43

l am still in debate with them about a jacket I returned in Oct 2011. I was waiting in for courier, but DD came early, so I hide the parcel in a safe place outside and left a note for the courier. Courier took parcel and left a card to say so. H&M say parcel never arrived and u didn't give it to courier as I didn't sign it had been picked up. I explained that I was having a baby! I haven't paid, and I think they've stopped hassling me. Other things have been out of stock from the day the catalogue arrives or delivered very long after ordering. i've given up, although do buy stuff in the shops.

OneHandFlapping · 26/01/2013 17:48

Just found I was charged £2 (through bastard 0845 number) for ringing up to ask them to collect something that didn't fit.

So much for free returns!

Fleecy · 26/01/2013 17:51

They are crap for deliveries - usually take ages. But I have always had money refunded. You can return to store but you'll only get a credit note so it's always worth doing postal returns.

Drywhiteplease · 26/01/2013 17:57

What's happened to the website or is it me? I used to be able to shop categories of clothing now I have to wade throughout the whole lot? Won't bother anymore

Sleepyfergus · 26/01/2013 17:57

They are horrific. I had a very heated email exchange with them over deliveries, out of stocks, delivery charges etc etc. their own t&cs are misleading. I ended up giving up pursuing it as I went in maternity leave. Their website is shit as well. Their stock comes from Sweden hence the delay. But it's the blind leading the blind in their whole company.

Drywhiteplease · 26/01/2013 17:58

Ignore me I'm having a senior moment [bgrin]

Corygal · 27/01/2013 13:42

They've just emailed me saying 'we ask you to allow us TEN WORKING DAYS FOR DELIVERY'.

So I rang up - costing a fiver - to ask for a refund as it was supposed to be a birthday present for my beloved goddaughter. But she will be about 2 years older at this rate. HM refused a refund.

Avoid, avoid, avoid.

They are totally rubbish ordered a coat, didn't arrive re-ordered was out of stock 3 months after original order said coat arrives, it was horrid !! refund took another 6 weeks ish.

Never again despite being given a £5 off voucher.

Corygal · 27/01/2013 19:11

I am sunk in woe. Despite the website saying 'just pop your return in the post box' they are now demanding proof of postage. Natch they have lost the expensive handbag I sent back.
