And I probably need some sort of intense conditioner. My hair is trashed!

I have what I call "Crystal Tips" hair ( have a Google) and I found Morrocan Oil last year and it has TRANSFORMED my hair, you put a 1p sized bit in your hands and run it through the midle to the ends of your dry washed hair and it smooths and softens like a dream, sometimes I use a bit more if my hair is really dry, I use it every wash and I think it gets better as my hair soaks up all the oil without any grease! you can get a little bottle for a £10 for Toni & Guy to have a try, which has lasted me at least 3 months.

The GHD heat protection spray isv good, but second the morroccan oil - amazing stuff!

I have really fine, fluffy, frizzy hair which was further ravaged by being on steroids for 18 months as well as regular heat styling and I've found Kiehl's Heat-Protective Silk Sraightening Cream bloody amazing. It's £15 but I've had the same tube for about 6 months. If you're on a budget, you can do a lot worse than the Tresemme heat protector spray, which leaves your hair nice and soft rather than the Paul Mitchell one I tried before which seems to coat the hair and leave if feeling a bit crispy.

Oh, and in terms of reusing my hair from being in hideous condition I have been using Phyto repair shampoo and Philip Kingsley's body building conditioner regularly and Philip Kingsley's Elasticizer as a treatment. You can get a small travel pack to try, according to your hair type, from John Lewis.

Oooh, thanks folks. I'll have a google
