Is Uniqlo as shapeless as it looks on the website?

I want to try them as it keeps being recommended and is a good price. Everything looks shapeless, though (jumpers/ t-shirts). I really need fitted (ish) clothes to make me look good!

Pretty basic and can be shapeless. I purchase merino jumpers -- simple v neck cut. I have some dresses and they are definitely boxy/shapeless.

Hmm that's what I was thinking. Boxy just doesn't suit me - I need to emphasise my waist. Not sure now...

Hmm, I buy the cashmere v necks in bulk and find their shape very good on me. I do go up two sizes though, for a slouchy fit.

I have several of the merino polo necks, they are great for work - but I only buy the ribbed ones for just this reason - the plain ones do look rather shapeless, but the ribbing gives a fitted effect.

I'm a big Uniqlo fan, but only buy stretchy stuff in there, like heat tech tops and the odd jumper for that very reason - I need stuff that allows for boobs, and goes in at the waist. I did get a fantastic coat there though this year, which is super-fitted.

I had my first ever order with them this week. Heat tech tops and Ls t shirt all good and I need room for my bust too. I wanted some knitwear but it was mostly sold out in little sizes.

I am a huge fan on Uniqlo, its a fab place to buy basics that wash well and last with out too much shrinkage and their jeans are amazing especially the skinny tapered fit jeans. Its one of the few shops where I can buy something in my size without worrying if its going to fit properly or not. Oh and it's a great shop for simple well made coats / blazers / jackets.
