Beauty addicts- how do you organise your stuff?

I am getting fed up with the state of my bathroom cupboards- I have tons of shelf space and I organise things nicely but inevitably everything ends up in a jumbled mess again.

I was thinking of Perspex boxes to put on the shelves but not sure if this is the best solution or will just be something else I have to clean...

What do you do?

I think Perspex boxes could work. You could line the boxes with tissue or something which can be easily changed and makes cleaning easy.

The only way I've found to manage all of my lotions and potions is to not have too many in the first place.

Have you looked at ikea, as they have loads of boxes and containers.

Beauty cases are great for nail polish and other cosmetics.
I lay the polishes down so when I concertina it out I can see all my colours not in a rainbow order of course

I have to use a window sill to store my makeup and I use the acrylic boxes/drawers from Muji, plus some pretty bowls I've been given/picked up over the years.

I use a combination of little baskets and old china bowls and mugs/pots from junk shops. I think they look pretty on my windowsill.

I want the perspex stuff from Muji.
I have a beauty box type thing.

Thanks, I love admiring them across the room as I lie in bed. Poor DH has to suffer all my 'girl stuff' being on display - I have all my earrings on the wall and all my necklaces too!

Muji plastic boxes, not cheap initially but last forever.

Godmorgon IKEA storage boxes are great for make up storage

Perspex boxes - think they were Habitat CD boxes but I bought them to stop the mess of bottles and stuff on shelves. So they look neat as a row hiding bath/body lotions/shampoo etc. And then I have a big drawer in the bathroom with the rest of my make up and face things in. Oh and a bowl on the side and a box on the other shelf etc etc etc
