He bought me some fab boots last year as a result of mumsnet so now I need an equally good coat! Smile

I have a Lindsay parka which is warm AND looks good with jeans, when it's not -5 outside. You can't see it on the photo, but the hem is longer at the back, which is practical and also makes you look a bit like a trendy Scandinavian detective pathologist. It's also got lots of pockets, and the only furry hood I've known that doesn't fall down, even in high winds. Can you tell I am in love with my coat?

I was looking at that one wriggletto, looks cozy! Think I would get the navy blue one, what colour is yours?

I have the Cathlyn in Ash. Have worn it almost every day since I got it in early October. It's really warm and really waterproof and I like the look of it it (like other lines, it has the longer back hem thing). The pockets are a bit higher up than usual, but I'm used to them now. The zip can be quite stiff but again, just takes a bit of getting used to. It's as warm as you could need it to be, but not too roasting hot if you wear it open on milder days. Love it!

Cn someone please tell me what they are like for fit, as may order online as no stockists near me?
Thanks

wildfig · 23/01/2013 13:33

They come up quite big, to allow for thick Nordic knitwear underneath. I'd usually get a 14 to allow for jumpers, but the size 12/40 fits fine.

(I've got an army green Lindsey parka, which is my favourite item of clothing right now)

PenfoldRocks · 23/01/2013 13:42

I have the Taylor and I LOVE it.
Have it in the navy from here www.lawskirkcudbright.co.uk/index.php?option=com_opencart&route=product/product&product_id=50
I bought the last one, was a size 6 - I am normally a size 8 - 10 and was worried it wouldn't fit, but it's perfect.
Would HIGHLY recommend it!

I also have the Taylor in green - and love it. Without doubt the best, most practical (if not the most exciting) item of clothing I have bought for years.

kitsilano · 23/01/2013 13:47

I have the Lindsey too and love it. Really cosy (agree pockets are quite high) and I get lots of good comments.

Twinklestarstwinklestars · 23/01/2013 14:27

I have the Veronica in green it's lovely and the nicest coat I have ever had. I struggled with the zip til I saw a thread on here the other day saying to lean back and it works!

Lukethe3 · 23/01/2013 14:36

Naomi

I have just gone for the Veronica in green. Smile
