I have a seminar thing that I need to go to and I want to look my best for it. Then I need to entertain people for after, casual dinner drinks etc.

I am shit with clothes. I dont do dresses or skirts and due to mobility issues, I cant wear v high shoes. I know I am an apple, but I am chunky with it!

Anyone help me out? I want to wear something like this

to the seminar. Its a casual thing that I am running but will have people coming from all over for it.

I dont know what to do for the night!

OK, a bit out of my comfort zone, but how about:

Straight legged jeans

This or this top. (Or this one)

A blazer with a nipped in waist or navy if you have blue jeans.

Ankle boots or here- will be warmer than ballet pumps! If you prefer shoes, I would get something like these.

And a scarf

I think jeans may be too casual -- I would do dark coloured trousers.

BlueBumedFly · 20/01/2013 23:05

Oooh, I could have written this post (and was about to!) I have the same issues, please may I watch and learn too? I need to be smarter than jeans too for an event... thanks, I will be quiet now and watch....

The pleat front top will be better for someone with no chest - the wrap would be better. You need something that will create a waist - a jacket with a nipped in waist (left undone) with a dress under it would be good, or a skirt/trousers with same jacket.

And get a decent bra to haul your tits up and create some space between tits and waist - this will do wonders for your figure too. Grin

For more casual, I like the Pinterest look you linked to - straight, well fitting jeans will be your friend here - the wrap top will also look good with them. And yes to boots, rather than ballet pumps. If you wear a scarf, don't loop it, or if you must, don't loop it too high up, or it will be like another chin between your chin and tits. The ends hanging down will create length.

That is actually a big issue my bosoinks and stomach seem to meld into one huge superboob... I never get measured right so I will get on that.

I plan to be groomed to the max so that will improve the appearnce and I suppose some suck-em-in knickers. I agree with boots. I am not a confident pants wearer though.

My arms are huge, can I minimise them in 2 weeks??Grin
