here

I saw it in my local Monsoon today in my size (well the size I will be later this year) and didn't buy it. I am slightly kicking myself but I think I just need to be told it is awful :)

So please feel free to criticise it!

Are you getting married?

dexter73 · 18/01/2013 19:32

That is pretty grim tbh!

cookielove · 18/01/2013 19:33

Hmmmm that is something special Hmm and not in a good way!!

MissBeehivingUnderTheMistletoe · 18/01/2013 19:33

It's bit Strictly.

openerofjars · 18/01/2013 19:35

Um, don't be offended but it is horrible. It kind of looks like it was designed by committee: too much going on.

Lucky escape, no?

changeforthebetter · 18/01/2013 19:35

There is a reason they have knocked £200 off the price....

MrsCampbellBlack · 18/01/2013 19:36

Thank the lord you didn't buy it.

Its very that Lesley opera singer person and that's not a good look.

GoldPlatedNineDoors · 18/01/2013 19:37

My phone is just taking me to tge homepage - whats the nanme of it so I can search - I neeeed to see it.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 18/01/2013 19:38

It's awful. And there is never any point of buying something in a size you want to be.

MaggieMaggieMaggieMcGill · 18/01/2013 19:39

Me too, linky no worky!

wewereherefirst · 18/01/2013 19:39

Catherine Tunic. It is awful!

cookielove · 18/01/2013 19:39

GoldPlatedNineDoors Catherine Tunic

shazbean · 18/01/2013 19:40

Perhaps if it had only the feathers or only the flowers it might be ok but as it is its just far too busy.

GoldPlatedNineDoors · 18/01/2013 19:40

Dear god.

VelvetSpoon · 18/01/2013 19:40
Grin

I do really like it, I think its the feather trim Blush

Sadly not getting married, I wish I was! need to find a groom first

It would look hideous on me too, shift dresses do nothing for me as my bust is too big.

I'm glad the unanimous vote is that its awful, makes me feel less bad for not buying!

MaggieMaggieMaggieMcGill · 18/01/2013 19:40

I wouldn't wear it but it's ok...

MrsCampbellBlack · 18/01/2013 19:42

I like feathers - once you're the weight you want to be get a feather skirt (zara and asos tend to do them) and wear with a black tux jacket.

CajaDeLaMemoria · 18/01/2013 19:42

I really thought I'd like it and struggle to tell you it was grim.

But it really is. Thank your lucky stars you didn't buy it. Seriously.

AKissIsNotAContract · 18/01/2013 19:44

It's great for dancing the Charleston in. When were you planning on wearing it?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 18/01/2013 19:46

I've always wanted something feathery but that is feathery AND flowery and SHINY and 100% polyester AND a shape that only somebody shaped like an ironing board could get away with AND a pale colour that will add at least two sizes to anybody not shaped like an ironing board.

Hassled · 18/01/2013 19:48

I do quite like it in a homage to Gatsby sort of way but cannot think of a single circumstance in which anyone could wear it. Unless you travelled back in time to 1920s Long Island.

digerd · 18/01/2013 19:49

It all depends on what suits you, and if you have great legs. It smacks of teenager to me though or very young 20s.

JustAHolyFool · 18/01/2013 19:49

sequins and lace and sparkles and polyester and feathers...it's just a little much isn't it?

You had a lucky escape, OP.

Happiestinwellybobs · 18/01/2013 19:50

Ooh - not flattering, even on the model. Maybe without the feathers, flowers, sleeves??

LadyStark · 18/01/2013 19:51

Genuinely horrid, you've had a lucky escape!
