Hairdresser in London N10?

My usual hairdressers (both for colour and for cut) have recently left the country and I had a hair disaster last week when I went to a swanky salon in Central London for a treat. Needless to say, I won't be going back there again. Any recommendations for cut and colour in N10? I am willing to pay more for someone who is really good.

I go to Stage Door in Muswell Hill in N10. Very very good and reasonably priced. I get a cut and blow dry for £30. All the hairdressers are Japanese and since I've been going for the past 2 years I have never ever been disappointed at all. They exactly get what I want and make it that little bit better! Also I love the fact they play classical music and there's none of that false "where are you going on your holiday?" chatter. Very calming atmosphere.

I second Stage Door. I have had much better cuts at £30 than the ££££ cuts I have had with West London hairdressers. Lovely staff - very welcoming, no pressure to purchase products and no inane chatter!

Charlotte Murray just up past the post office. Not cheap but not central London expensive either, and very good. Charlotte cuts my hair and is fab.

Yup definitely no pressure to purchase products at Stage Door! I took my mum there after she'd had years of bad haircuts at far more expensive places. She had as she keeps says "the best haircut ever" at Stage Door. I'm so glad I literally just live round the corner. Even if I do move away, will definitely keep coming back here.
