red hair dye HELP - Janet Street Porter lookylikey! Colour b4 or let fade?

but even brighter!! Its almost got pink hues. Will it fade as allegedly red hair does fade very quickly, or shall I try a colour remover. I used Naturtint and its in lovely condition, despite the colour!

Luckily it is winter and can wear a hat but it is almost as though tomato soup has been poured on my head. Any thoughts? Has anybody tried Colour B4 and with what results?

no words of wisdom, but I'd love to see Grin

No dissing the Porter, it suits her to have that colour but not me!

Anybody got any advice on fading red hair?

Reds fade amazingly quickly. The brighter it started, the quicker it fades.
Anti-dandruff shampoo strips it twice as fast.

Would be wary of using colourb4 on a colour like that as I think it will just end up orange.

Put a brown on.

I have red hair, an have used colour b4 it will turn ginger, but you can use a brown or deeper red to even out.

Personally, if it is bright I wud just put on a deeper red or brown, red colours may still come through the brown.

I usually dye my hair at home and love he sound ov yours haha keep it...reds don't always fade well, an more so when bright,

I really don't want to go brown but do have an ash light brown semi permanent in the cupboard, would that tone it down?

I ordered some colour B4 off Amazon. I don't seem to have any backers for it.

I keep looking in the mirror and getting a little shock. I'm 44, it's not a good look.

What is your natural colour.
Colour b4 will strip most of the red out but leave it an odd colour, Try your ash brown after using the colour b4.

I dye my hair blondish anyway due to greys, natural is light brown. Will the b4 stuff strip back to natural colour? scary!
