Hi
My friend is having a big night out soon for her 40th and I'm so worried about it as know they are a very glam crowd and I frankly am not!!
I have recently had a baby so none of old clothes fit so I'm looking for a sale bargain. We are all wearing dresses of the glam variety.
I am also worried as I have an inflammatory condition which causes me pain in my feet so I can't manage in high heels all night. What the heck can I wear on my feet without looking a frump?
As the cold makes my joints worse I want something to cover my arms too for the journey home (at 4.00am!) but no idea what.
The night will be a long one and involve a night club. Please help me as I have no idea as I don't really go out much anymore and I haven't much confidence in my appearance right now. Thanks

I would go for wedges for a bit of height with support.

What kind of colouring are you and what's your budget?

Just after I had my DC I would have favoured bias cut &/or wrap dress to show off cleavage & skim over belly!

Don't know about dress but a pair of calf-length flat biker boots might work unless your dress is super WAG style.

As for a cover up, a fake fur jacket would be both snug and glam. Lots about at the mo.

I would also go for flat boots. I wear biker style with dresses. Not posh dresses more fat face style.
Wear something you will be comfortable in. Other wise you won't enjoy yourself.

Obv. I don't mean trackie bottomsGrin
