I am expecting a fairly large chunk of money which i intend to spend on clothes. about 2 grand if I'm lucky. I have never in my life been so frivolous and don't want to blow a one and only opportunity

I need a complete overhaul. Have spent the last few decades years in a fashion wilderness. I own bootcuts, fleeces and mum boots and wear them often Most of my clothes do not fit properly or are shabby and were often bought because they were 'bargains' and are a bit cheap and a mishmash of styles. I'm 46, a curvy (30ff with matching arse and thighs) size 10 and 5'5. Don't work atm so casual only. Go out a bit in the evenings but nothing overly dressy. Price wise I want to stick to mid range and will possibly buy over the year to get the full range of seasons. Like sporty or classic style clothes mostly. Or slightly rock chick ( more rock hen nowadays.....maybe too young for me?)

What should I buy? How many items? Is anyone up for the challenge of helping me spend this money?
