Uggs - has anyone bought the kids sizes for themselves?

I'm a UK 4 so size down for Uggs to a UK 3, US 5 but looking at the measurements on the Ugg site this is the same length in cms as the kids UK size 2. Is there anything else different about the sizing? Are they narrower/shorter etc? Surely that can't be right and if it is why didn't I know abut it as I could've saved myself a fortune!

I have tried searching the site but just found a load of stuff about how naff they are... I know, I know but I love them!

Hello - I got a pair of kids uggs in December (I got the black leather biker boots but assume sizing will be the same for the fabric variety), my mum bought them in the US for me.

I am a size 3 (and normally take a US size 5 or 5 1/2). Checked the UGGs size conversion and a UK 3 is the equivalent to a US4 for UGGs. I got the US 4 and they fit perfectly.

If you're a regular UK4 would suggest you go for a US5, but if you are a 4 1/2 or sometimes a 5 would suggest a US 6.

Not sure how cheap kids uggs are but if you want cheap adult uggs m and m direct do the cheapest uggs I have seen. I was chuffed to get some mini bailey buttons for £79.99 and there was a free delivery code.

Office sell kids uggs .

I bought some uggs in the USA about 7 years ago they are the brown classic tall ones, I realised the kids ones were as you say essentially the same as the adult ones and I think I paid £65 for them, the exchange rate was v good at the time. I seem to remember the label at the back isn't different colour for the kids ones but that was the only difference and didn,t bother me one bit.

If you join Brandalley they have them on sale.

Here.

Thanks everyone. I've taken the plunge and ordered a kids size 2 which is 21.6cm, same as the adults size 3 (which is really a 4). Will be very pleased with myself if this works out!! X

Hope that works, it's the Ugg Australia sizing info. Have you bought Uggs before and you're a W7? If so the measurements would make you between a kids 4 and 5. Ive not seen them online anywhere past a 3 in kids though. From everything I've read kids sizes come up even bigger than the adults, which come up big to start with.

Thanks so much scooby, that is very helpful. You are right I haven't seen them online bigger than a child 3.

I may pop into the Ugg store :-)

I'm a size 3 and got a size 3 in uggs and they fit fine

leobeebs · 15/01/2013 22:21

I'm usually a uk 4 what size child's ugg should I get? My feet are alittle wide too.

adi82 · 16/01/2013 07:25

Girls I always wondered don't you get too warmed because of the wool material of Uggs ?

ScoobyDooWhereAreYou · 17/01/2013 00:01

Well, findings so far is kids size 2 is a tad too small for a UK size 4. Despite them apparently being the same length in centimetres as my W5's that fit perfectly. Onto kids size 3 now (which seems to be sold out in chestnut anywhere that offers free returns grrr).
