Borgen - I'm having a shirt moment

She wears them so well but as I'm not the PM of Denmark and have realised that full on denim is just not me - I'm rather liking the look of this

Does anyone have it? Is it lovely - will I look like Olivia Palermo if I wear it with white skinnies and pointy shoes?

I suspect I can't either as also have no waist.

She does look amazing though - she looks better all the time and Katrine looks worse.

I want to know why Katrine appears to live in a glorified bedsit when she is such a star journalist.

And why the PM has no cleaner.

I had to google Olivia - she is rather fabulous! And she is wearing a shirt very like the topshop one on her blog.

Of the two I prefer the Topshop shirt - I think the silk in the whistles shirt makes it look more formal while the chambray is more casual chic.

I was thinking the same thing MrsCB. Katrine's flat is a hovel.

I want Birgitte's hair. Those lovely relaxed buns....how do you do those?

This title made me chuckle because I know exactly what you meant Grin

I think anything crisp (so cotton) and sharp would look good.

Is the bun done using a hair doughnut thingy?

lurkingaround · 13/01/2013 21:48

I also like her look, and yy MrsCB, she looks better and better.

But why does she live in an ordinary house, and why has she no security staff around the house, and why has she no household staff, and wtf is that stupid blocked sink, surely she makes a call and hey presto it's fixed. Anyway, for another thread. Again, I digress. Terrible habit.

Topshop shirt is better i think. I was in Primark today and they have a pale denim-y almost chambray one. Pas mal, I thought.

MrsCampbellBlack · 14/01/2013 06:42

Yes why has Katrine gone all mousey haired and yes I want Brigitte's hair too.

Right - may order the topshop shirt.

Thanks all.

I've just ordered a boden one. They fit me well.

MaureenShit · 14/01/2013 08:17

What's the top shop one? It's homepage tastic for md

mathsconundrum · 14/01/2013 08:21

Brigitte has no waist either and a bit of a muffin top. I thinkvthe shirts look good cos she has a straight up and down figure. I'm hippyvand would look ridiculous with a tucked in shirt.

MaureenShit · 14/01/2013 08:22

I'm hippy. Honest they're ace for work.

Wonder what crew ones are like. I never shop there

She does have a nanny, but I agree no cleaner is ridiculous.
Ooh sorry, I'm supposed to be talking about shirts aren't I? Yes, crisp shirts look lovely on her but my fave was her meet-the-new-girlfriend outfits- leather trousers and a gorgeous dress.

(Off to look for/start a thread on Borgen)

hattymattie · 14/01/2013 09:56

I love the shirt look but I've a wide back and they are always tight on me or the size up is too loose and baggy around the boobs:(
