Have recently had a promotion at work. I'm now attending more meetings with important people out of the office, and last few days have had to take my scruffy parker coat off and leave it in the car because I'm too embarrassed to walk into a company wearing it.
I've recently upgraded my work wardrobe but haven't got a decent coat that can cope with cold northern weather but is suitable for work. I still dress like a bit of a scruffy student outside of work, despite being 38, and every time I try to find a smart coat, I'm really put off because they all look like something my Mum would wear!
I'm naturally drawn to parkers and duffle coats, but not sure they look businessy enough? Budget up to about £100. It'll have to do me a few winters though.
