I haven't bought new glasses frames since I was 20!

I just get new lenses for them each time

Anyway, I have an eye test on Tuesday and I've decided it's about time for an update.

What on trend? What should/shouldn't I be trying on?

My strongest advice when buying specs is to disregard trends. These things are on your face - you need to get it right. Face shape is important, as is colour. What colouring do you have?

Dark brown hair, light olive tone skin and brown & green eyes.

Currently wear red square d&g frames, but I think I've outgrown the style.

The colour is bold, but the frames are small and square and not practical.

Still definitley want to stick with a chunky plastic frame.

Maybe go for brown or tortoise shell, and change the shape slightly.

My face shape is oval with a decent pair if cheeks so can't go for anything too circular

I would recommend a website called selectspecs.com
They have loads of lovely designer frames a lot cheaper than you can buy on the high street.
At the moment I am wearing a pair which cost £10 inc delivery as I broke my glasses and had to get my eyes tested again while I was pregnant (need to book an appointment)
The only downside is that they can take a couple of weeks for delivery as the glasses come from Japan.
Sorry not really much help but might save you a bit of money Smile
