dh has bought a really nice tie for an interview.broad navy and pink stripes, silk, quite striking.looks really good with the navy suit he's going to wear.
just been reading various'what to wear 'things on t'internet and they say you should wear a conservative tie-ie plain.
what do the mn style gurus think?

Personally I think that sounds OK. Stripes are reasonably conservative. I assume it is the pink that concerns you - but as long as everything else is fairly plain I think it should be fine.

sounds fine
stripes are conservative - the internet places are trying to stop you wearing Homer Simpson novelty ties.

yes it was the pink-it is very bold!

Actually I think it sounds nice. He will look tasteful but just that bit different. Nothing wrong with the interviewer being able to remember you.
