as i dont have the patience to blow dry it as i have got 3 kids to look after and my youngest is 6 months. I've got v thick shoulder length hair and it's layers and i do use a straightener but i find my hair never stayed straight after an hour as it starts to look wavy and sticks out on the end as i have wavy hair.

i need a simple job to do to straightens my hair and to look nice when i like to go out to socialise or do i need to get the ironing board and iron out Wink

thanks

I have my hair straightened at the hairdressers using Aveda. It lasts about 6 months and costs me arround £50 .It is well worth it,as otherwise my hair looks a mess.

GHDs. Couldn't believe the difference from my old straighteners.

Teta, do u know what aveda product they use? And what is your hair like in a natural state?

teta · 08/01/2013 13:59

My hair is very wavy [unstrightened]and in the morning i look like i've been dragged thru' a bush -it's a frizzy mess.I think Aveda do two types of hair straightening and mine is the more severe one.The blessing to me,is that it left my hair shiny and silky smooth and in really good condition. Its the first time i have ever had shiny hair.
