Mulberry bag on sale....

They have reduced this bag (see pic) in my local dept store from £297 to £150. Do you think it's worth it and will work for the next few years.....

Which bag is it? Link did not work for me. Is it one you actually want or are you just swayed by the reduction?

A mix of both. I do like it but think it may date as it has a leopard print

think about what other bags £150 would buy you and if you like them more. Would you be buying to get 5-10 years use out of or just a few seasons? there are alot of bags you get for around that price which would have lovely soft leather and less obvious hardware. What brands do you usually like?

It seems like quite a lot still for a bag that probably won't be an every day item (and I come at this as having a few Mulberry bags myself). If you love it, then I think it's worth it, but if there's a small chance you'll get fed up with it (and I think the pattern's fairly discreet), I wouldn't do it (although you could buy and sell on if you do get fed up with it?)

I don't think it would date because of the leopard print, because it's so tiny - I mean it would be such a small part of what you were wearing. It is a bit look at me I'm wearing a mulberry though.

Why are Mulberry copying Louis Vuitton?? Nice bag tho ;)

Thanks everyone. I think I might hold off to see if they take anything further off it. As you say rubytutu might be worth seeing what else I could get at that price....
