Just wondering?

er..no, im 33 and i frequently put my hair in a ponytail.

hester · 18/04/2006 20:55

No, so long as it's not a high one. A sophisticated tail sitting on the back of your neck is fine, but on no account attempt to look like a perky cheerleader...

busybusybee · 18/04/2006 20:55

Im 31 and about to have mine removed!!!!!!!!!!

Mercy · 18/04/2006 20:56

Hope not, I'm 42 and still sometimes wear a ponytail.

I am 36 and still wear my hair up.

Gingerbear · 18/04/2006 20:57

I had to wear pigtails the other day on DD's insistance.
Not a good look when you are past 40.
32 fine IMO.

Well as long as it isnt scraped back off yer face, with no make up and you havent got your corned beef legs out!!! CHAVTASTIC

Gingerbear · 18/04/2006 20:58

I know a bloke who had SILVER hair and a ponytail until he was mid 50s.
Looked a right twerp.

Mandymoo · 18/04/2006 20:58

Hester - i dont think i could EVER attempt to look like a perky cheerleader!!! Grin

I have naturally curly hair and am growing out a very short style. Atm i can just about scrape it into a knob style - gonna grow it long again but will inevitably wear it up most of the time. Just wondering if, at my ripe age, its considered wrong!!!

I am 33 & wear my hair up a lot - infact every day for work (work in a school!) & have never felt I was too old. I do wear it up in a clip a lot too.

Bozza · 18/04/2006 21:00

No. I am 33 and I frequently wear a pony tail. Have lots of friends who do as well.

hulababy · 18/04/2006 21:00

I am 33 and I reguarly, especially for work, wear my hair in a low ponytail.

supakids · 18/04/2006 21:01

OOOH thats posh hula (haughty sniff)! Grin

fullmoonfiend · 18/04/2006 21:04

I have long hair and aften wear it in a pony tail (i hae a fringe though so I'm not exactly going for the ol' croyden facelift.) 36 this year, gulp.

Gingerbear · 18/04/2006 21:06

I could do with a facelift, Croydon or otherwise.

hulababy · 18/04/2006 21:07

LOL. Believe me it isn't posh!!! I just have to have hair off my face for work. Drives me mad otherwise.

I have just had my hair cut to bob length because I am 32 and all I ever did was the scraped back pony tail and no style and I think I am now of an age, or look like I am of an age, that needs a style kwim?
