Grommies sheepskin boots for kids- sizing

www.grommies.co.uk/Kids-Sheepskin-Boot-10.asp

I am hoping to order a pair of these boots for dd who is an infant size 7 (only just reached 7).

The sizing on the website states 7-8 or 9-10. I am presuming I would get her a 7-8 though i know that for some brands of sheepskin boots you are encouraged to get a size bigger. I would have thought she would be swimming in a 9-10 though!

Anyone had these boots for their Dc and can confirm whether they are a true fit in relation to normal sizing?

Thanks!

Hi there,
Re the Grommies.. definitely a size bigger I ordered them for both my girls and myself and they were all too small.. also a note of caution... their phone number doesn't work and they don't respond to emails. I am still waiting to hear something (anything) about a pair that I sent back before Christmas and I have another pair here waiting to go back. At this rate they will be ebayed!

I actually did a google search to see if anything was coming up on line about grommies and lack of response...have any other mums netters had problems with them?

Ooh just saw your other thread and thanks for also replying to mine. Non working phone number not a good sign I wouldn't have thought... I hope you get it sorted otherwise ebaying probably the way to go!
Shame as they look lovely boots. If you do have any joy getting hold of them do let me know!

You don't need to size up with them but a word of warning; I ordered a pair for 2.
5 yo dd a couple of years ago and the seam split completely open down the side on one of them after a week. They apologised and sent a replacent pair, and the same thing happened. I didn't have any trouble getting a refund out of them but it was really disappointing.
