Not too bright, no logos/glitter/ not to partyish.

I have looked at Boden, Next (their new season stuff is truly VILE), Zara (all sale stuff), Gap (neon), M and S, pumpkin patch and John Lewis.

I have run out of steam. Where haven't I thought of? Budget up to £30 unless is amazing.

I don't know what they are like but maybe Laura Ashley girls in the sale? It sounds bizarre but Comptoir des Cottoniers also do girls wear and it might be possible to pick up something in the sales. I've been able to find adult dresses for just over £30 so you might be lucky. Also Jigsaw girls in the sales?

Don't know if these are a bit glittery/fancy but Monsoon usually has some nice kids dresses.

Or maybe this with a nice top and little shrug:

Dd got a lovely age appropriate dress for a family birthday/summer ball from BHS. We were in there recently & they have some lovely dresses.

Alex & Alexa have some nice things in the sale - not sure if these are too dark/formal, depends on the occasion:

Rasberry dress is £28

Navy and grey is over budget at £40 but might work?
