Little girl's curly hair. What do I do?

DD's hair is getting curlier by the day. She's 3 and resistant to much hair care! I have no idea what to do with curly hair. What should I use/ do to keep it nice? It's neck length at the moment and grows in all directions. Thanks for any tips.

hers is down to the middle of her back now, its beautiful but very prone to tangles, and she hates having it brushed

i tend to just put it in a ponytail tbh, it looks lovely in pigtail plaits as well but she never sits still long enough for me to do them

My dd is the same. Very very curly ringletty hair.

I mainly leave it down with a hairband to keep it out of her eyes or front section fastened to the side with a pretty clip.

We use bottles and bottles of detangler (a very cheap one in a rapunzel bottle is the best we have found and smells gorgeous) and use lots of conditioner when we wash it.

I also tend to plait it overnight to cut down on tangling and then wet in the morning with a waterspray to bring the curls back.

Both DD and i have hair like this. Use silicone free products like naked range from boots and only comb when wet then leave to dry for curly look.

If wearing in pony tail or plaits use a tangle teaser to brush through and smooth in some coconut oil before styling.

To revive curls just run wet hands through it and scrunch. Easy.

My dd's hair is very curly too, I got a tangle teezer from amazon, it really is effective at getting the tangles out, especially when it's wet

Mainly from home bargains. Have seen it other places too I think its £1. We tried a schwarskopf (no idea how to spell that!) one recently and it was awful! Her hair was actually matted and took 40 minutes to comb out while she screamed

Great, thanks. And especially for the link to the other thread, TeaBrick. I'll get some silicon free conditioner and a wide toothed comb tomorrow. It is looking gorgeous at the moment and I'd like to keep it that way.
