Can someone please recommend a quiet hair dryer?

Just that really. I can't seem to find any available in the UK, they all seem to be in the US! There was a Phillips tresemme hush one but it is saying unavailable on all the websites for some reason.

So, is your hair dryer quite quiet but doesn't cost the earth? Please come and tell me! :)

Why do you need a quiet one?

Lozislovely · 08/01/2013 17:40

I've just ordered a Parlux hairdryer. The lady who cuts my hair has one and they are quite noisy BUT there are silencers available for about £10.

You will love your Parlux drier - I love mine!

I've got the GHD and it's really quiet - its also brilliant at drying hair!

Curlysueuk · 09/01/2013 08:55

I have a Parlux...........I have long hair and I find that the power is more important than the noise............

valiumredhead · 09/01/2013 08:56

I do too curly

I'm still curious as to why you need a quiet drier OP

Because the loud one is just really annoying! It's so loud!
Would love a ghd one but bit expensive for me.
