Apart from Evan's and Duo, where else for long boots with wide calves?

Just looking for ideas. I've looked at evan's and not that enamoured, esp with what's left in sales. And Duo online - okay but still dear even in sales. Width on calves - 17 1/2 inches or 44 cms. Size 7 1/2 t0 8. Problem with evan's seems to be they cater for wide feet and my feet aren't VERy wide.

Clarks. You have to hunt about but they do have some which are width adjustable but don't have wide feet. I've just bought a pair called limpet lagoon. They aren't as stylish as I'd like but they do fit. They are a d width fitting and due to the elastic up the side can fit wider calfs than their standard boots. I usually buy the wide fitting boots and find these a bit tight but can do them up. They are cheap too!

I have MASSIVE calves and usually end up in Evans for long boots. Got a pair from Debenhams just before Xmas, they were Mantaray ones and look much better quality than Evans ones

I have narrow ankles and big calves and have tried all sorts, but either the quality was not great, the style awful or they just didn't fit. However (YEAH) I've just bought a pair in ASDA for £40, which fit brilliantly, have elastic at the back, are styled a little bit biker and don't look daft on my legs - tempted to go back and buy the brown. I had to size up from 39 to 39.5 but am very pleased - and I am very fussy about my footwear.

La Redoute have some.

I've got some from Jones the Bootmaker, bought them in the sale last year. They just about fit because there is an elastic panel. Always had to buy from specialists before.
