Ok. So I hate my figure at the moment. I need to feel better about it but I don't know how.

Other people are happy larger than a 16 aren't they and i think they look good, so how do they do it?

I used to always be a size 10-12 but since my second dc 7 months ago I've gradually put on weight and I am now 12 stone 4 at 5ft 6. Hmm.

I do a lot of walking with ds in the pram but I accept that I eat too much (boredom if I'm honest).

I am expecting the weight to come off the more ds becomes mobile and we can do more things.

But I need to be happy now. I'm trying to buy nice clothes but half of me just wwants to return them as I feel awful :(.

Sorry if I've offended anyone. I really don't mean to. I just need some reassurance that being larger than a size 12 isnt the end of the world :(

how short are they - are your legs good?

i ahev never seen anyone they look good on tbh - often are high necked so make the be-titted look HUGE

WeightyKaty · 03/01/2013 14:08

I think it depends on your shape - I am hippy with chunky thighs so they would just make me look larger so I stick to more fitted dresses.

Fairylea · 03/01/2013 14:09

Well my legs are long and okay I think... always used to be my best feature apparently.

But - I am a 32g! So maybe not great for boobage?

Hmhmmm. I have no idea!

Yep, it's a shape thing.

Are they low-cut? I'm a size 8 and wear the lower cut versions, but I'm a DD and I don't think they'd work if you were much bigger chested than I am. I'm probably on the limit!

If you've got nice legs, they will probably be fine. My ASOS ones aren't the most fitted but they are nice for relaxing - Mango had some more fitted ones that you might prefer, if the ASOS ones don't feel right?

Fairylea · 03/01/2013 14:13

Thanks. These ones are quite high necked.

I might look at mango too, thanks.

I find it hard to find things that are comfortable now. I always used to wear jeans non stop but now they seem to dig in
... and I'm sick of jeans every bloody day.
