Best brown or brown/black mascara?

I wear brown or brown/black most days. I have just run out of my current brand and was wondering what brands other people use.

I would like something that gives quite a good curl and length, but not a wildly shocking result.

Clinique glossy (dark nut brown), been using it for a long time and it is the only one that doesn't look 'fake' and spidery when applied (for me, I am blonde with pale lashes). It has a slicker texture than most and lasts extremely well. Lashes look defined and thicker, never clumpy or powdery, and best of all they look very natural.

I rather like MAC's Plush lash at the moment, once you get used to using the huge brush. It makes my lashes look full, long and not clumpy.
