I find boy shorts really uncomfortable (and proper knickers!) so I always buy hipster thongs and make sure they NEVER hang out.

Gross

if you're worried about VPL don't wear any, I say

ma2cra · 17/04/2006 18:23

lol Lockets, the Head at my boys' school had to do the same with a TA at the school - the boys were having competitions to see what colour she would be wearing etc etc!

blueteddy · 17/04/2006 18:23

A couple of the teachers in the school I work in are guilty of this!
Looks horrible!

cod · 17/04/2006 18:23

I only ever see them on REALLY fat people. Just returned from Sacrborough to see relatives. You don't half see some sights
It's April (so still middle of winter temperatures up here, and yet, there were so many low slung trousers, thongs showing and midriff tops. My ds kpt saying ''why are they only wearing half a pair of knickers mummy - is it cos they're too fat to fit into normal pants?''

cod · 17/04/2006 18:26

Accidental flashes of flesh are ok, but the Mr StayPuft look (think of that giant marshmallowman on ghostbusters) is not a good one.

fullmoonfiend · 17/04/2006 18:32

LOL lockets! Blueteddy - wish I had apples Grin

blueteddy · 17/04/2006 18:32

LOL! I like everything safely gathered in!!Grin

paddingtonbear1 · 17/04/2006 21:52

thongs - ugh! I hate the things. My SIL swears by them (hers aren't usually visible though), but I don't find them comfy at all. I like those 'boy shorts' and suchlike from M&S, much better!!

Nightynight · 17/04/2006 22:54

thongs - buergh

actually, I blame horrible low-cut jeans for showing the thongs. Low cut jeans flatter NOBODY - no matter how slim you are, you still look like a builder from behind.

the only good thing about winter was that all the bulging flesh hanging over low cut jeans disappeared, it's coming out again now, yuk!

mykidsmum · 17/04/2006 22:56

I feel like handing this mum at school who is a repeat offender a tube of cannestan Grin

Pruni · 17/04/2006 23:02

Lol was wearing thongs today (NB not showing over top of jeans as had vest tucked in religiously) and realised c. 3pm my buttocks were freezing.

mykidsmum · 17/04/2006 23:06

Throw them away, save your freezing buttocks from future relapses

hana · 17/04/2006 23:36

where's a good place to buy boy shorts? how are they with vpl?
