So I need some casual footwear inspiration - not boots really am sorted for them. (Though always open to inspiration )
I m not sure about ash wedge trainers, maybe converse but this time of year .....would they get soaked through?
Can you please share your ideas ?

But it's winter still!

ShotgunNotDoingThePans · 02/01/2013 10:38

Erm it's not spring - winter's hardly got going!

TheFallenMadonna · 02/01/2013 10:49

Waterproof boots...

ClaimedByMe · 02/01/2013 10:52

Wellies no doubt...

ZZZenAgain · 02/01/2013 10:53

no sign of spring where I am but I was thinking this morning I needto look for some new shoes this week or next (or I want new shoes perhaps more than need).

SpikyLikey · 02/01/2013 10:53

Spring doesnt kick in until about May though, does it?

I usually wear ankle boots at the inbetweeny stage, and then go straight into sandals. Ballet pumps are so uncomfortable and I dont do sporty footwear at all.

mirpuppet · 02/01/2013 12:17

last spring I did brogues. Not sure about spring 2013.

If the weather carries on like this, I am going to have to live in wellies.

Emo76 · 02/01/2013 12:39

I am not falling for the spring footwear needing to be wildly different from winter footwear this year or ever again!

BunFagFreddie · 02/01/2013 12:59

I bought some sandals last year and never wore them because the weather was so awful.

ShotgunNotDoingThePans · 02/01/2013 13:42

I still haven't worn the lovely suede ankle boots I got before Christmas, so I'm hoping to get some wear out of them if it ever stops raining.

PeppaPrig · 02/01/2013 13:50

Boots until the weather cheers up, then superga on dry days.

PuffPants · 02/01/2013 14:18

Winter boots! Then I might throw caution to the March winds and don wellies till May when the annual heatwave will catch us all out (again) and I'll dig out last year's Birkenstocks to last me till my lovely new summer sandals arrive - at which point it will start raining again until the Indian summer some time mid-September, just as the schools go back.

(On a more helpful note, I wore brogues a lot last year - the Clarks ones are super comfortable but look ridiculous with skinny jeans.)

scripsi · 02/01/2013 14:45

I need something that goes with work dresses but isn't a court shoe, is not an ankle boot (wear these a lot, some dresses it doesn't work with), has a heel of mid height or wearable and higher ... this doesn't exist does it?

Turquoiseblue · 03/01/2013 08:40

Well it wasn't raining here yesterday but it is today I like spring summer so am going to plan for it in hope Smile

As far as I can see srcipsi, that doesn't exist. And i have been looking. Smile

scripsi · 03/01/2013 17:05

Hmm, they must live where the unicorns and comfortable spanx live. Am now thinking of heeled brogues?
