...where do you buy them please? I am looking for a flattering cut, not wide leg (as I am short), in a nice material for regular wearing.

Lurk, some I find lovely and flattering some awful. I put my foot through the hem of every pair

Ganetgob · 01/01/2013 22:04

I use good old M and S. Some are quite old fashioned but if you try a few there will probably be a pair you like. They tend to last very well and I like that they do regular and tall sizes too. They are more than suitable for work :)

Coast every time. I have a few pairs but the last ones I picked up NWT from Ebay for £6 with an £80 price tag attached.

I try and buy in the sale around the £40 mark but I would still buy them full price, nice sizing (perfect size 8) and I can sit and stand in them all day without them looking awful.

I have a trouser press at home which has saved a fortune in dry cleaning and pressing services but I have been known to turn them inside out on a quick wash if I haven't got time to do the dry cleaners.

here

Hobbs, the white company

If you can search around for non-frumpy styles, Planet are good for suit style trousers and they look smart and last forever. I find their shapes very flattering and you can go down a size at least, which is nice for the ego. If you're size 12 or less, you can pick them up super cheap in the sales. They have room in the arse and thighs but also fit properly on the waist and don't show your bum crack.

Tons of trousers here - and whilst most of them say dry clean, I do wash them in the machine on a hand wash cycle from time to time.

BoyMeetsWorld · 01/01/2013 22:20

Next. I love them.

WildThongonthesparklytree · 01/01/2013 22:22

DD1 wears M&S adult trousers to school and they last years and still look nice.

emsyj · 01/01/2013 22:25

Oh sorry - it's www.planet.co.uk on the 'All Trousers' page.

thenightsky · 01/01/2013 22:30

Zara or Mexx

WildThongonthesparklytree · 01/01/2013 22:40
