New Years Eve dress dilemma

Argh! What to wear for New Years party? Don't want to wear jeans + top as usual so thought I'd dress up a tad- 2 options:

1. Navy print mock wrap mini dress (sort of 70's style with a mustard coloured print) with either black/drk brown tights and brown boots

Or

1. Cream lace/crochet mini dress with black opaques and patent black heels

....should I just stick to jeans? Dilemmas dilemmas!

Go for the dress. The cream dress with black heels sounds fab.
