hi i have a 13 week old DS so having a bit of body shape crisis. I've got a family wedding in Feb which id like to look & feel fab for but important lost!

im a size 14 lost 9 lbs via WW prior to xmas. had norovirus on xmas day so managed to keep it off so far.

i am also breast feeding the baby so it needs to very Bf friendly.

i don't really like wearing heels a little heel maybe.

im 5'5 just under 11 stone (hoping to shed a bit more prior to wedding) and have a bit of a post baby tummy.

i feel like i dont even know where to begin looking. Sad

Not sure how it would be for BF but I have tgis dress in navy and it is super flattering. im 5'2 and a size 14 with an awful.post baby belly and I felt really really glam.and like.my figure looked good. It has a bit of a stretch so fits really well, and I had a pair of PRimark spanks underneath.

Ooh lovely dress Gold. I bet that looked amazing, better on a size 14 than the model's size I would imagine! Love both colours. Probably not a bad one for breastfeeding either!

This thread caught my eye as am also looking for a Feb wedding outfit.

Love the asos dress.

Question navy dress, what colour shoes?

GoldPlatedNineDoors · 07/01/2013 08:32

I went for purple shoes a bag - very nice contrast. Thought navy or nude might be too ageing (im 27). Ill look for links.

If you went with Gold's dress OP, you might have to reach around and zip it down a little bit for easier boob access. Wouldn't be too much of a hassle though I'd imagine since the back is so low - you could do it discreetly if you brought a wrap.

Ah sorry no longer selling in the Dorothy PErkins website, but darkish purple courts with a stacked sole and a matching box clutch.

GoldPlatedNineDoors · 07/01/2013 08:39

Oh should add the navy is very very dark - almost black

When I had the same age baby I was completely stuck too for a wedding and ended up borrowing this top from a friend in cream. It was two sizes bigger than I normally wore and so hid the whole tummy area but still looked 'right'. I wore it with a striped skirt and pashmina and I think I had a vest top underneath for easy breastfeeding.

Or is there anything here that might work? I have had a couple of the ruffled type maternity dresses and felt fab in them.

ooh thanks for all the replies!
that's a really lovely dress gold im not sure i'm brave enough. i like that its got a sleeve. might order it see how it fits. how is the sizing?

i'd forgotten about Isabella Oliver too, the wrap dress is nice but not sure its dressy enough for a wedding?
