Got my new Scaramanga satchel

Got my new Scaramanga satchel with some Christmas money and I love it! I got the 13 inch one with a top handle and front pocket in polished tan.

It is lined and has a great big zipped pocket along the front and inside there is a long drop pocket which are perfect for my kindle and phone both standing vertically. There is also another long zipped pocket at the back.

It's lovely and the organisation works better for me than the more fashionable Cambridge satchels as they have no pockets inside so everything would be jumbled up.

Mumsnet were right again :-)

Ha ha yes I thought that too! But it's also a company who make satchels and sell other vintage stuff I've seen good things about in here!

I agree they are lovely, I bought one for my DH and had to send it back. It smelled/smelt (never sure. Smelt looks wrong) so bad. They replaced it and again It was sent back. Does yours smell?

No it just smells of leather. Maybe they've changed supplier? I've packed it up and love it! That's a shame your DH's smelled/smelt?! Lol I never know either! I think both are acceptable!

Just gone up to it and gave it a good smell it definitely just smells of leather. DH thinks I'm a weirdo!

Is it the one in the sale? I ordered that last week, can't wait for it to come. Such a bargain at £45.50.

I've been eyeing it up too this week. Just had another loom and there were only 4 left so I panicked and bought one, oops!
I went for the tan with the top handle, very excited now!!

Yes it's the one in the sale such good value it had a lovely dust bag and had a little mini notebook thing was was v cute. I've given it to ds as a spell book!

I've just ordered one......I didn't even know I needed a new bag!!!!

my first scaramanga bag absolutely reeeeeked ! can't describe what of, but it stank !

my second bag ( more satchel like ) was fine and i got DH a gorgeous large work bag, which went down a storm, he loves it and it smelt fine ....

They are out of stock now, sooo glad I saw this thread, I would have been v pissed off if I'd missed it in the sale!!
