Please come and link to your favourite dress...

I have recently lost a couple of stone and want to buy a killer dress for a friend's party. I have been away from the UK for a while so a lot of friends won't have seen the new me, and I want a dress that will make people say wow.

I am a size 8 now, and am 5"3ish. I'd prefer to wear something that shows a bit of leg and am open to style / colour. I generally like Ted Baker and some of Reiss's stuff... What killer dress did you buy this Christmas, or do you aspire to?

Unfortunately it's not in the sale but I did get it when they were doing 20% off all dresses before Xmas.

I have just bought this in the LK Bennett sale. I love it, it's the most flattering dress I've tried on in years and well worth the sale price (£110).

That's lovely Body - but thinking I want something a different to all black... any other ideas people?

Well done on your weight loss! I am 5 3" and a size 8 and I bought this VW Anglomania dress about 3 years ago. It is hands down the most flattering dress I have ever owned. I got it for about £100 in the winter sales, but I would happily pay full price if I ever had to replace it
