I lost weight due to illness some time ago, skin tone was awful and have been on a steady exercise regime to feel better (sleep better!) and generally tone up and get stronger (thanks in part to helpful MNers). The odd thing is that now, apart from my shoulders, my saddlebags at the top of my thighs (on the side) are the widest part of me by a long way. I have quite slim hips so this looks a bit odd and clothes just don't fit properly. So far most of my exercise has focused on using a crosstrainer and I think that this has toned up the front of my thighs and my bottom, but perhaps I should do some more shred-like aerobics to get rid of my saddlebags? I know you can't spot-reduce but wonder if there is something I am doing wrong or should be doing?
