Wishfulmakeupping · 28/12/2012 00:00

Stuff for the house- new curtains/cushions for living room so far. Getting some new pictures and accessories to dress the room and a new floor lamp. I'm pathetically excited about our new cream and teal color scheme never liked the red stuff in there before

CointreauVersial · 28/12/2012 00:11

Warehouse top, reduced from £30 to £13.
Necklace from Accessorize that I admired earlier in the year but never got around to buying.
Slippers from Next for £4.
Makeup for my mum's birthday, half price at Boots.

Have also done a big Zara order, but won't be keeping it all.

And (naughty) the boots I bought a month ago at Clarks had gone into the sale so I re-purchased them and returned with the original receipt. Well, we've all done it.....Blush

WoodRose · 28/12/2012 00:20

I have been splurging in Whistles. So far, I have bought: a "structured" black dress; a slinky purple/black animal print dress with full
Zip down the back (channelling my inner Kat Slater ); a black jacket which goes with both dresses; olive green skinny jeans; grey double breasted coat. Yikes! That is a lot for me, but my wardrobe was in need of a serious revamp. Now, all I need are a pair of black shoe-boots. Suggestions anyone?

addictedismoving · 28/12/2012 07:05

ooo lots of great purtchaces!

I'm just brousing fat face and have found a dress I like, here I cant decide if I like it tho, I may get it and return it if I dont

I also spent £50 in matalan yesterday, I bought 3 bras and as a 32E was impressed that they came to £16 in total, I struggle to find decent bras anywhere else other than bravissimo, so I'm really hoping they are nice quality.
I also bought this cardigan and this jumper I'm not sure on the jumper as it was cheep to begin with, so it may be going back (although hoping its really nice!)

Nothing very exciting or stylish, but I need basics as I have lost weight and nothing fits me anymore!

M&Co:
2 pairs jeans
3 long sleeved black tops
black gilet
earrings

Debenhams:
2 patterned Mantaray tops
wrap dress

Next:
black cable knit cape

I also bought quite a lot for the DC in Next.

Pinkflipflop · 28/12/2012 10:14

Not overly exciting but I bought this from Fat Face

Think it will look nice with a skirt and emu boots.

PeppermintonCandyCane · 28/12/2012 10:20

Two cardigans and some socks in Monsoon
this and a long grey one that's not on the website.

Just basics for work really.

Decameron · 28/12/2012 10:21

Djembe, I know but my size is selling out fast!

E320 · 28/12/2012 10:53

All online as I hate shopping, but:
Basler blazer, trousers and skirt
Poetry blazer and trousers
Brax 2 pairs of trousers, one cord one velvet (50% off)
Tommy Hilfiger leather boots (were in the sales online, but the Amazon price was marginally lower again)
Needless to say most of this is for work as I like to wear suits or trouser suits.
Saved quite a significant amount on the pre-sales prices, too :-)

novelsituation · 28/12/2012 11:05

Dark green suede boots from Jigsaw.

Last purchase for a very long time as my NY resolution is to do no shopping for clothes for a full year. V happy with my wardrobe but feel I've got far too much and need to spend time enjoying the nice things I do have without accumulating more.

Casmama · 28/12/2012 12:06

these in plum and have just ordered in red as they are pretty and really comfy.
these are really nice quality.
this slightly too big in the hips but fine for work so will keep.
this which will probably need a camisole as it is quite low cut.

Amothersruin · 28/12/2012 12:22

No clothes yet as havent seen anything wow. Am waiting another couple of weeks as Monsoon usually reduce their stuff to 70% off and I have my eye on 2 dresses and a coat.

Bought some new perfume even though I got 2 gifts sets for xmas!-Naughty Alice by vivienne westwood and thierry muglers Alien.

Some underwear and stockings from ann summers-I like their hosiery and it was 3 for 2.

chickensarmpit · 28/12/2012 12:28

Nothing yet as i have been ill but my cousin has spent over £5000 in Next. She then waits a month, then puts it on ebay and makes a fortune. I think she's a greedy mare.

itsallinthememories · 28/12/2012 12:33

A leather tote and a scarf from Zara, a pair of patent chelsea boots and sparkly flats from Bertie and have my eye on 2 gorgeous work dresses from Laura Ashley which I discovered when I went in to look at a mirror, I had no idea they had such nice work clothes

Yama · 28/12/2012 12:43

Casmana - I'm tempted by the Wallis skirt.

Casmama · 28/12/2012 12:45

Go for it Yama - you can't go wrong for £20 although delivery was £4 and delivery to a store was £2 which I though a bit cheeky but hey ho.

Yama · 28/12/2012 12:48

Yes, think I will. Buying clothes might motivate me to stop eating all the bloody time and go out for a walk.

wonderstuff · 28/12/2012 21:04

Today went to Oxford St and I bought
Levi super curvy (or whatever the jeans for people with bottoms are called) jeans for £34 in House of Fraser (was £85)
Lovely Dickens and Jones dress (£40 from £80)
Plus sheet and duvet cover from John Lewis on 'special purchase' 200 count cotton for £40
Then had lovely boozy lunch at Carluccios. Grin

libertychick · 28/12/2012 21:45

All I seem to be doing is buying and returning! Linked in previous post on this thread to a dress and top from Atterley Road - arrived today. The dress is awful - type of material M&S make slips from! Top ok but 100% polyester which I hadn't realised as the website description says silk! On the details section it does say polyester but very misleading to say silk in the front blurb. So they are going back.

Nipped into Monsoon today and bought a grey poncho which isn't on the website - loved it at the time, now not so sure so will return tomorrow as only 7 days to return on sale stuff.

I have dreadful PMT this month - one lousy purchase after another then all the faff of returns - think I am just going to give up and try again next week. Anyone else lose all sense of what suits you at certain times of the month?

Djembe · 28/12/2012 22:16

Haha libertychick I have horrendous PMT or possibly early pregnancy hormones atm and have succumbed to the Hush pre-sale. Have ordered a charcoal Sloppy Joe dress (which is not a tunic) and may have accidentally also ordered a Marc by Marc Jacobs tomato red purse from Farfetch Hmm

wonderstuff · 28/12/2012 22:19

Last year I did that libertychick haven't bothered with online this year, returned so much last year. Though am now off to Hush website Grin
