Has anyone else had a violent reaction to this cream with pro-retinol? 3 or 4 days of feeling blissfully younger followed by the horror of Christmas with puffball eyes and scabby face. Read the full misery here! 50newblack.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/garnier-ultralift-firming-day-cream.html?m=0

Had the same! But it was that Ulay 7 signs thing. And I am allergic to Avon stuff too.
Destined to be wrinkly old bat!
Don't worry, slap some trustworthy moisturiser on and it will only take a couple of days to go.

Well, it's obviously not going to suit everyone and I am sorry you have had a reaction. I have been using it for ages and not had a problem.

SoldeInvierno · 27/12/2012 12:54

I had that reaction to a Clinique toner. It was like I've been burnt. Horrible, but everyone's skin is different and I am sure some people get on with those products really well.

Dawndonna · 27/12/2012 13:12

I too had the reaction with Olay.

Slap on a thick layer of savlon before bed or sudocrem and it should be ok

Solde - I heard that you can use Clinique Toner to remove nail varnish. No wonder you looked burnt!
