Returning things to Space NK/ Crabtree & Evelyn?

Not meaning to sound ungrateful but it looks like my DH was persuaded by sales assistants to make some strange purchases in Space NK & Crabtree & Evelyn. I'd like to return them but don't have the receipt. The Space NK ones both have the price tag on them.
I don't want to offend DH but equally I don't think I'm going to use the products he bought (we've been so broke for 3 years that now I am shocked at the idea of £37 worth of shower oil).
Very kind of him though.

Keep it & enjoy! You'd spend more in petrol parking and bus fair taking it back. Relax, enjoy, use it together!!

I tried to swap (not return) a candle which I had bveen given in spaceNK last year - despite having all the original packaging (unopened, I knew I didn't like the scent) and the bag it had been given to me in they refused to swap it as I had no proof that it had come from that particular store. It really put me off buying gifts there for others.

Use it. You'll probably live it and come out all soft and silly skinned

Or save it for presents for upcoming birthdays... But that could be a bit cheeky

I think the guilt of washing £37 worth of shower oil down the drain would remove any relaxation benefit. Hopefully they'll exchange it!
