White company black wrap dress

DH bought me this for Christmas . It's lovely but I feel like I am dressed for a funeral. Any ideas for accessories to make it more casual? Or do I give up and take it back and get something different? For work I teach kids who are out of school in there own homes so nothing too formal.

Personally, I wouldn't think it was too formal for teaching in their homes- if you jazz up with a scarf or beads. You could try a cropped cardi over but depends on the style- which one is it?

Have you tried dressing it down with tan ankle boots or knee boots and a scarf? Biker jacket over? Cable knit grey tights?
