Quick, got a christening this afternoon, what to wear?

I never go to Church, I am a pretty casual dresser. I have no idea what to wear!

I was thinking,
Burgandy skater style jersey dress with grey tights and ankle boots- too casual

or

Silk autumnal digital print dress, with black opaques, black blazer and leopard print court shoes. Too Dressy?

What's happening after the christening? Is there a do, and is it at home or a venue?

We are going to a country pub for a roast. There will be lots of children there.

Would the ankle boots go with the silk dress?

Burgundy skater dress sounds lovely, I don't like the sound of the animal print shoes. (Sorry, but not for a religious service).
