Am I too old to dip dye??!

I am 30. I have shoulder length curly hair, I have recently had a side fringe cut in (I know, I know, I went against MN advice - it looks nice, really! when straight)

I was thinking of doing a dip dye, which I had as a teen BTW, I was trendy before my time, and dying red. I would position it (?) like blonde that has grown out, not just half blonde half dark

I mentioned I was thinking of doing it at work, everyone said go for it, it'd look good etc - apart from one person. She has filled me with doubts and now I need MN to make a decision for me.

So come on. Tell me. So I can do it tomorrow

Forgot to add, I am a couple of years older than you and frequently have bright pink flashes in my hair and I don't even slightly worry about being too old !!

I know I'm not really, but there's always that one misery guts that puts you off your amazing fashionable idea isn't there? I think she must be jealous of my fabulous style

28 and dip dyed...love it, its freshened up my style without having to cut it as am currently growing for my wedding!

Well, I bought 2 boxes of the L'Oreal ombre dye today (BOGOF) if I have time, I'll do it tomorrow.
