After two beanpole sons, I've got a rugby playing youngest.
Skinnies look dire and some from autograph looked like painters overalls.
He's 9. With thighs. Where do you get them ?

Next? They have quite a lot of baggy ones with a drawstring.

We had this problem too and tried loads of different jeans, some of which were pretty £££.

The very best pairs were from Asda and either £7 or £9 I think.

Oh have you also looked in H&M?

LynetteScavo · 21/12/2012 18:56

Gap have a selection of styles.

I have a ten year old like that and h&m has been the best for his rugby player thighs. hes sturdy and broad with a tendency to run to fat (sorry ds2) unless he exercises a lot and i watch what im feeding the children. (unlike ds1 who can eat any rubbish and remains a beanpole).

hes got three or four different style in store there, that are still what i would call straight leg without being too tight or too baggy. I can now go in and know which styles will fit him by looking at them, but has been trial and error and a mass trying on session of what felt like every style in store.

The chinos in h&m fit him really well too.
