How do I curl my hair with GHDs?

Last time I tried it didn't work at all, I ended up with a kink that was almost a right angle!

Any tips?

Go to you tube. Only way I got the hang of it

It's a bit like curling a ribbon with scissors...that wasn't very helpful was it
