Yes I do - usually when I am wearing my "best" colours.

I can't remember the last time.

Mostly I look a bit scruffy, though my new coat is nice.

Yes I do, I think it's because I have a very distinct style and most people like it on me but wouldn't dare try it themselves.

I know I gets a hideous write up on here but I have lots of Lk Bennett, mostly sales or e bay sourced. Their clothes suit my shape. Yes they are high end high street- but many are on their second or third year and as good as new. I am frequently complimented at work on my clothes- though most of my pals now don't need to ask where they are from.

chibi link to dress?

My brooches get a few compliments. As does my hair, but only when I pile it madly on top with combs and random bits of hair hanging down or poking out at right angles to my head, having not brushed it.Confused

Clothes..hmm some of my older Boden stuff gets the thumbs up. I don't do the full look, just some good pieces. Living in Australia makes Boden something of an exotic brand. Toast is good, though their delivery prices rule them out now, and as no-one from the UK can afford to visit us, I can't get them to ferry the clothes over.

They used to, yes, but I've become a bit scruffy and lazy in my old age. Blush

If I have something special and important to attend then I make a massive effort and still do get complimented on my taste and style, but on a day to day basis I look a bit of a bag lady.

Mumelie · 22/12/2012 15:18

Yes I do, but usually when I'm wearing my work 'uniform' of fitted dress, boots/heels and accessories, or if I make an effort for a night out. Never in just my jeans! I'm no natural beauty and take a lot of work!

Yes, usually on things I bought in a charity shop Grin
