Going to an A list NYE party on a D list budget

Hello fashionistas, I need your help.

I have managed to nab a place on the guest list of what will be an epic star studded party this New Years thanks to a work placement I did last month... so yay Grin sticks out tongue

Now it's a case of what to wear which has me looking a bit more like this Shock I've put on a few pounds at the moment, and will undoubtedly put on some more over Christmas so I need to buy something new as I have nothing that will flatter me.

My budget is about £50 - £60. I have a naice pair of KG black patent platform shoot boots, with Victorian embossed detailing and a black patent ostrich print bag. My good jewellery is silver, so nothing with gold detailing.

Not terribly fussed on colour- but I'm very pale with black hair and dark eyes, and look best in all shades of red and navy. Would fancy something that had a classy vintage air to it, as I like pin up styling and to match my accessories. Usually shop at Topshop, Jack Wills, DP, Warehouse and Motel.

I'm a size 12, small waist with a rather large bottom..

Do help me out, I'm currently staring at my shit, too small wardrobe and that ever expanding bottom not knowing what to do!

Do you have any dress hire places nearby - if it is a one-off event and you need something stunning, it may be a better option to hire for the night as that way you could have something expensive to wear for a fraction of the cost of buying. Xmas Smile

And most A listers do not buy their clothes either - they either hire or borrow - so by hiring you'd be with the trend

Update: managed to get my hands on a lovely vintage wine coloured wiggle dress- which will be getting worn Grin

Thanks to all that helped x
