a bodycon (does that mean skin tight) dress. I am a size 16, this may not be good, but it has batman logos on it and I couldnt resist, any tips on making it more acceptable and not looking like a sausage?
I havent tried it on yet and looking at it I am not even sure I am getting any of me into it.

Oh I like that! Would do leggings personally if it's short. You mentioned a red one with skulls. Just did a search- is it this?.

Am tempted!

ditavonteesed · 19/12/2012 15:44

Ooh that would a bit adventurous for me. Would be concerned about my arse! Very cool though.

I think you need a cape - will make you feel swirly and theatrical as well cunningly concealing a wibbly bits at the rear (I'm sure you don't have wibbly bits, but just in case IYSWIM).

I think it is a fab dress/top and I hope it brings you much joy!

aPirateInaPearTree · 19/12/2012 17:51

you know what dita, i know just how you feel. buying something fun, not mothery, something you 'used' to wear. to hell with a few wobby bits!

I find it hard to find anything to my taste. I am not really outlandish, more groovy/retro, but i seem to have lost it along the way. I find it harder to find clothes i like, in normal shops so this doesn't help.

Is it me or is everything bang on trend in nearly every shop? I swear about ten yrs ago, there was more of a mixture of styles in the one shop iyswim.

anyway. enjoy!!!

ditavonteesed · 19/12/2012 20:18

It's so wrong it's right. I love it and I think you should fuck the cardi and leggings off. Get a good bra on and strut, baby!

BreadAndJamForFrances · 19/12/2012 21:13

Dita - I love it! You say you are a size 16, but the link is 12-14......can you tell me what size you bought please? Xmas Smile

ElectricMonk · 19/12/2012 21:41

Would you (please please please) consider pairing it with a coordinating pair of leggings, perchance? Grin

dexter73 · 19/12/2012 21:45

It is totally not something I would wear myself but I like to see people wearing what they like and not what they think they should be wearing. I hope it gives you lots of fun!
